EVERYDAY NUTRITION
Eat well for the rest of your life.
We believe that ongoing, individualised, client-centred support is the gold standard in dietetics practice.
Over a series of appointments we focus on building healthy behaviours into your lifestyle, rather than offering you a quick fix. This way, we set you up to become a long term healthy eater and achieve your goals.
MEET OUR FOUNDER
The Healthy Eating Clinic was founded in 2011 by Kate Freeman. Originally named The Healthy Eating Hub, the clinic was birthed out of a passion to help people feel empowered in their food choices, free from confusion and able to take control of their health.
It is now Canberra’s largest and most influential dietetics practice, with big goals to achieve the same title across Australia.
Kate Freeman is a Registered Nutritionist with the Nutrition Society of Australia and has over 15 years experience in the industry!

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
They are so easy to talk to. I never feel judged, no matter what my choices. I often go in feeling guilty or bad and come out feeling better and with things to work on.
Very helpful and understanding of individual needs , extremely caring and gives great information and support for nutritional advice.
I’ve seen other dietitian’s but they have taken the time to understand my lifestyle, what works and what doesn’t and therefore the recommendations they’ve made for me have been appropriate and easy so I’ve managed to be consistent. I’m finally getting actual results. The InBody scan is great too.
How We’re Different
Our Food Philosophy
We believe in…
- Building a diet out of whole, unprocessed foods as much as possible.
- Nutrition recommendations based on scientific evidence.
- Individualising your diet to work within your lifestyle.
We don’t believe in…
- Eliminating foods or food groups without sound evidence.
- Demonising individual nutrients and foods and labelling them as ‘bad’.
- Taking a one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition.
