It has been a tough 2020 so far and as we pull together as a community to face the next challenge, I’d like to communicate our plan to prioritise the health and safety of you and our team during the current COVID-19 situation.
We’re following advice from government and will be continuing business as usual. We’ll be practicing good hygiene, of course, and minimising physical contact with clients. If you would like to get additional information please see the Federal Government’s health website.
I’d like you to take note of the following important points:
Video consultations
There is no need to cancel your appointment or postpone making changes to your eating habits! We’re keen to continue to help you on your journey!
If the need arises and you feel uncomfortable leaving your home, or are quarantined or have become sick, we are ready and fully equipped to provide your nutrition consultation via video. We use a program called Zoom that can be easily downloaded to a computer or smart phone. It is simple and easy to use and does not cost you extra to take advantage of it.
Please contact my team to request your consultation over Zoom if you’d like to take up this option.
Appointment Cancellations
Face-to-face appointments are the lifeblood of our business and your dietitian or body scan analyst is rostered on to see you and only you for a specific time slot.
We understand that you may need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, especially considering the current circumstances; we just ask that you respect our time and give us 24 hours notice so we have an opportunity to fill the gap. Don’t forget the services we can provide by video link (Zoom) as an alternative to cancelling.
To ensure that our business can continue to offer you a high quality service, our late cancellation policy will remain in place. A condition of booking is that if you fail to give 24 hours notice for reschedules and cancellations, you will be charged a fee to cover the time the dietitian or body scan analyst was rostered on for your appointment.
This fee may be waived with the provision of a valid medical certificate as we understand that sickness can take us by surprise.
